While on a holiday in Kefalonia, you may want to try a dive along the coast of Skala.
Scuba Diver course is a wonderful opportunity to explore the underwater world with the comfort and safety of having an experienced guide with you at all times.
This program is an entry-level certification that is perfect for you if you plan to dive a couple of times a year, but it is also the beginning of an exciting number of courses that follow ahead. It allows you to get quickly and easily competent by minimizing time constraints. If you have already tried a Discover Scuba Diving experience, you can use the credits earned towards the Scuba Diver program.
Throughout the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving including dive equipment and techniques. After completing 3 confined water dives, 3 knowledge development sessions in the class and 2 open water training dives which can be credited towards the Open Water Diver certification, you are awarded the Scuba Diver rating that allows to dive maximum 12 meters while supervised by a diving professional on your holiday or dive trip.
The program is performance based and you proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills thus allowing you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. The course is generally spans a relaxed 2 days, with the first day spent practicing in confined water and in the class, while the second day the open water training dives are performed.
