If you want to learn how to dive, you can take advantage of the great feeling of diving into the crystal clear, warm waters around Skala, while on holidays in Kefalonia.
Open Water Diver program is granting you the freedom to explore the underwater world with a buddy, (certified diver as well), independent of a professional. If you are a certified Scuba Diver or you have already tried a Discover Scuba Diving experience, credits apply to the Open Water Diver program.
Throughout this 4-5 days course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving including dive equipment and techniques. After completing 5 confined water dives, 5 knowledge development sessions in the class and 4 open water training dives to a maximum of 18 meters, you will be awarded the Open Water Diver rating that allows you to dive anywhere in the world as a competent diver instead of diving like a newcomer every time.
This program is performance based, which means you proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills thus allowing you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. The course is generally conducted over a relaxed 4-5 days, with the first days spent practicing in the confined waters and class, and then moving into conducting your Open Water training dives.
If you are interested in attending the course, please contact Bluemanta Diving Club here.
In order to save time while on holidays, you may consider the e-learning methods available to cover all the theoretical parts, including knowledge reviews and exams online, in advance of your visit to Kefalonia. Then you can carry out only the practical part with us.
